One frome the river, One from the sea

Using quilts found buried in the creek muck and other found objects, I build a tent, a home, and an altar to what once was.

An A-frame shelter built from three quilts- two found buried in the river bed in the aftermath of Helene, and one from a past home. The blankets carefully carried around Western North Carolina to safety after both of our displacements. The hanging tassel threads begin the very long process of mending these tattered testaments to what came before.
